Terms of service.
The simple agreement between you and us when you book lessons or use this website.
1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of the Alba English website and the lessons provided by Centro de Estudios Cubick, Rúa Manuel Pereira, 22, 32003 Ourense, Spain. By booking a lesson or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity on your account. Please give us accurate information and let us know if anything changes. Accounts are for your personal use and shouldn't be shared.
3. Free trial lesson
Your first lesson is a free trial. No payment card is required to request it, and there's no obligation to continue. We offer one free trial per student.
4. Booking & payment
- Lessons can be booked individually or as a block of hours, subject to tutor availability.
- Prices are shown before you confirm. Paid lessons must be paid for in advance unless we agree otherwise.
- Booked hours are valid for the period stated at purchase.
5. Rescheduling & cancellations
Plans change, and that's fine. You can reschedule a lesson with reasonable notice (at least 24 hours) through your account. Lessons cancelled with less notice, or missed without warning, may be counted as taken. If we ever need to cancel a class, we'll offer you a new time or a credit.
6. Your conduct
We want every class to be friendly and respectful. You agree to treat tutors and other students courteously, to attend lessons on time, and not to record or redistribute classes without permission.
7. Learning materials & intellectual property
The workbooks, worksheets, recordings and other materials we provide are for your personal study only. They remain the property of Centro de Estudios Cubick or its licensors and may not be copied, shared or resold without our written permission.
8. Liability
We work hard to deliver high-quality teaching, but we can't guarantee a specific exam result or grade, as outcomes depend on many factors including your own practice. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected lessons. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Spanish law.
9. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be on this page. These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Ourense. Questions? Email info@albaenglish.academy or call +34 625 040 861.
